Data platform

Do you know it? Data is scattered in systems that do not talk to each other. Reports take days to make. And decisions are made on a gut basis because the numbers are not ready in time.

It's not a resource problem, but a data platform problem, and that's exactly what we're solving.

As a certified Microsoft Fabric partner, we help B2B companies collect data, automate processes and create a business intelligence system that provides the missing overview.

How much does it cost you that data is not collected?

Many companies discover late what it really costs to have data scattered. The finance department spends days compiling figures from systems that do not talk to each other. The operation reacts to yesterday's data, not to what is happening right now. Management makes decisions based on reports that are already out of date when they land in the inbox. And the IT department spends half its time maintaining integrations that never quite work.

Microsoft Fabric is Microsoft's overall answer to that problem. A complete data platform setup that collects all data in one place, connects all systems and gives everyone in the organization access to the same truth, regardless of which department they are in.

As your Microsoft Fabric partner in Denmark, we ensure that the platform is implemented correctly from the start and built for your business and not according to a generic template.

What is your biggest challenge with data today?

"We spend too much time on manual reports and cannot trust the numbers"

Get rid of the spreadsheets and get reports that update themselves.

If your financial reporting still requires manual extraction, cross-system collation and half a day in Excel, it's not a human problem. It is an architecture challenge. With Microsoft Fabric and an experienced Power BI consultant next to you, data reporting from ERP and other source systems is moved directly into automated reports that are always up-to-date and always traceable.

The board wants figures that hold. Auditors want documentation that is easy to obtain. None of them benefit from you spending precious time producing reports rather than using them.

  • Full data reporting from ERP, including Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central and other ERP systems, ready without manual extraction
  • Power BI implementation tailored to your reporting structure with budget follow-up, forecast models and deviation reports ready for the board meeting, including pixel-perfect paginated reports for invoices and audit documents
  • Power BI dashboards for businesses with KPI scorecards and real-time viewing, giving management instant access to the key figures that govern the business
  • Full compliance and governance via Microsoft Purview with role-based access management and full audit trail that meets GDPR and audit requirements
  • RPA automation of manual financial processes so that invoice handling, reconciliations and data entry run automatically and connect directly to the platform

"We know we have to digitize, but we don't know where to start"

Start with what makes the most sense, not what looks best on paper.

Many companies have tried digitization projects that ran into the sand. Not because the idea was bad, but because there was no clear data strategy for B2B at the bottom and because the technology was chosen before the business case, was in place. This is the mistake we help you avoid.

A solid data platform setup does not start by selecting modules. It starts by understanding which decisions you need to make faster, which processes cost you the most time, and where data today is a bottleneck rather than a resource. From there, we build a solution in Microsoft Fabric that is scalable, flexible and ready to grow with you.

As a Microsoft Fabric partner in Denmark, we combine the technical implementation with strategic advice, so that you do not invest in technology that collects dust.

  • API-first architecture with full integration for Azure, AWS and GCP, as well as existing systems via open standards and Data Factory connectors for hundreds of data sources
  • Phased implementation so you can start with one workspace, validate the effect and add more modules as the value is proven
  • RPA system for automating manual processes that connect directly to Fabric and ensures that data flows automatically from source to insight
  • No vendor lock-in, because OneLake is based on open formats such as Delta Lake and Iceberg with standardized interfaces that ensure you own your own data
  • Native integration with Microsoft 365, so Power BI reports, Teams, Excel and Outlook are connected directly to your data platform and the data that lives in OneLake

"We always react too late because we do not have an overview of the operation in real time"

Stop reacting to yesterday's reality.

When stock status, delivery times and capacity utilization are only available the next day, the damage has often already occurred. Deviations have grown large, the customer has been contacted too late, and the decision, which should have taken five minutes, took five hours. It is a problem that concerns a lack of real-time overview.

With Microsoft Fabric's Real-Time Intelligence module and automated data collection via RPA systems, data from ERP, WMS and TMS flows into one unified overview, updated in real time, without manual intervention. And via Activator, the platform itself can trigger actions when specific conditions arise, so you react to facts, not sensations.

  • Live Power BI dashboards for businesses with lead times, inventory turnover and delivery reliability updated in real time
  • Event stream for ingesting and routing streaming data from all relevant sources into Fabric, without complex pipeline setup
  • RPA system and automated data collection that eliminates manual data entries and process transitions in ERP and logistics systems, so that data is correct and current around the clock
  • Activator that monitors business units, detects changes in condition and automatically triggers responses to specific events in operation
  • End-to-end process integration that collects data from supplier to end customer in one coherent view via OneLake
  • Real-Time Hub as a central hub for discovering and managing all streaming data sources across the organization

This is what the platform can do

Whatever challenge you start with, Microsoft Fabric is built to solve the entire data journey, from raw source data to business decision. Below you will find a review of the central modules and what they concretely give you.

OneLake

Imagine in one place where all your data is gathered, regardless of whether it comes from ERP, CRM, logistics systems or cloud platforms. It's OneLake. Via shortcuts and data mirroring, data from external systems and third-party platforms can be made available in OneLake without moving or copying it, data remains where it is, but becomes available as one unified data set. The result is that everyone in the organization always works with the same truth and that no one spends time questioning which version of data is the right one.

Data Factory

If your data today lives in silos and requires manual extraction to be brought together, Data Factory is the answer. The module connects the organization to hundreds of data sources across on-premises systems, cloud platforms and third-party solutions, and via AI-assisted transformations and automated data collection, manual effort is reduced to a minimum. The low code approach with Power Query allows data controllers without a technical background to transform and collate data quickly, while data engineers can work in full code with advanced pipelines. Data Factory is recognized as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.

Data Engineering

When the data volumes are large and the need for robust, scalable pipelines is critical, Data Engineering is the right module. Based on enterprise-scale Apache Spark, data is processed and transformed to Delta Lake format with ACID transaction control, and automatic scaling ensures that resources are dynamically aligned with workload. Git version control, CI/CD pipelines and the ability to code in VS Code, notebooks or low-code tools give the entire team the flexibility to work as they work best. Copilot generates Spark, SQL and Python code directly in notebooks and helps to debug and optimize in real time.

Data Science

Many companies have enough data to predict the future. They just need the right tools to use them. Data Science in Fabric brings machine learning and AI-powered data analytics into the business, not just for data scientists, but for anyone working with data. Via Data Wrangler, data is cleaned and explored interactively, AutoML automatically selects the best algorithms, and the built-in AI functions make it possible to call generative AI directly into the code for text classification, summary, translation and entity extraction. Models connect directly to Power BI dashboards so that the insights reach those who need them.

Data Warehouse

Do you need a complete data warehouse solution with industry-leading query performance and an architecture that does not require you to choose between speed and price? Fabric Data Warehouse separates calculation and storage, so you scale exactly what is needed and store data in open formats directly in OneLake. Business users can ask questions via natural language through AI-powered data agents, and data engineers work in familiar tools such as SSMS, Visual Studio Code, and dbt. AI-assisted migration from legacy systems makes the transition tangible, and Microsoft Purview handles governance and compliance throughout.

Real-Time Intelligence

When seconds count and data has to act on itself, Real-Time Intelligence is the module that makes it possible. Eventstream collects and routers streaming data from IoT devices, transaction systems, and application logs directly into Fabric, while Eventhouse stores and queries massive amounts of time series data with lightning-fast performance. Activator monitors business events and automatically triggers actions when the conditions are met, and Digital Twin Builder creates digital copies of physical systems for scenario simulation. Copilot translates natural language into KQL queries so that anyone can work with real-time data regardless of technical level.

Fabric Databases

Do you develop applications that require real-time database access combined with analytical power? Fabric Databases combines SQL Database for cloud-based relational workloads and Cosmos DB for distributed NoSQL applications with global scaling. Both automatically mirror data to OneLake so it's instantly available for Power BI and analytics, without manual ETL setup. Vector support for AI applications, self-optimizing performance and access-free authentication is standard, and Copilot is integrated directly into the query editor.

Power BI

What good is data if it does not reach those who need it? Power BI is the layer in Fabric that translates data into insights and makes it available to everyone in the organization, regardless of technical background. Via the Direct Lake mode, data is queried directly in OneLake without import or caching, and Power BI integration with Business Central and other Microsoft solutions is fully supported. Power BI dashboards for businesses are built with drag-and-drop tools, paged reports deliver pixel-perfect documents for invoices and audit documents, and the Q&A functionality lets business users ask questions about data in natural Danish. As Power BI experts, we ensure that your Power BI implementation is scalable and maintenance-friendly from day one.

Copilot in Fabric

What if everyone in your organization could ask questions about data, generate reports and debug code just by writing in natural language? This is exactly what Copilot makes possible in Fabric. In Power BI, Copilot automatically creates report pages and summarizes insights. In Data Engineering, Copilot generates and refactors code directly in notebooks and suggests fixes with an authentication step before changes are implemented. In Data Factory, pipelines are automatically summarized and debugged. In Real-Time Intelligence, natural language queries are translated into KQL, and in Data Warehouse, SQL is generated via chat, available in both Fabric's editors and in SSMS and Visual Studio Code.

RPA Automation

Even the best data platform is only as good as the data that enters it. If data is still entered manually, exported via CSV or transferred via processes that require human intervention, there is a missing link. Our RPA consultants connect Fabric with your existing workflows via RPA systems that automate exactly the processes that today cost time and introduce errors. The result is automated data collection that ensures that data is up-to-date, accurate and ready for analysis, around the clock. We solve RPA integration for existing ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central and similar platforms, and we have special experience with RPA for ERP systems that traditionally require many manual workflows.

Your data is your responsibility. We help you protect them.

Decision makers considering a new data platform always ask the same questions: Who has access to our data? What happens if something goes wrong? How do we ensure that we comply with GDPR? These are the right questions and Microsoft Fabric is built to answer them.

Governance is handled via Microsoft Purview, which provides end-to-end management, data disco viability and full control over access and use across the entire data landscape.

Security policies are uniformly enforced down to the element, folder, row, and column level, and no data can be accessed without passing the same access controls, whether the user is a director or intern.

  • GDPR-compliant data processing in accordance with applicable data protection legislation
  • Role-based access control down to the field plan with precise control over who sees what across all work areas
  • Full audit trail and logging via Microsoft Purview with complete history of data behavior, access and changes, ready for revision
  • Built-in disaster preparedness and resilience as Fabric runs on Microsoft's mission-critical infrastructure

Questions we often get

Can the platform integrate with our current ERP system?

Yes, and this is exactly where many of our customers start. Microsoft Fabric supports full data reporting from ERP via open APIs and Data Factory's hundreds of data connectors, including direct integration with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central. Combined with an RPA system, we can automate data transfers from ERP to Fabric without manual extraction, and we map your specific setup thoroughly in the start-up phase, leaving nothing to chance.

What does a Power BI implementation entail for you?

A Power BI implementation always starts with an understanding of what decisions you make and what data should support them. As Power BI experts, we design Power BI dashboards for the company built exactly for your business, with the Direct Lake connection to OneLake ensuring that data is always up to date. We have special experience with Power BI integration with Business Central and ensure that models, calculations and access roles are set up correctly from the start.

What is the difference between a data warehouse solution and OneLake?

OneLake is the underlying data store that all Fabric components share, think of it as the organization's common cloud hard drive. A data warehouse solution in Fabric is one of the work areas that uses OneLake as a foundation and offers industry-leading SQL performance with advanced analytical query capacity. The two solutions complement each other and can easily coexist in the same Fabric implementation.

How does your data platform setup differ from others?

We don't start with the technology, but with your data strategy for B2B. A data platform setup that creates real business value requires us to understand your processes, your source systems and the decisions that must be supported before we touch a single module. As a Microsoft Fabric partner in Denmark, we combine the technical implementation with strategic advice and ensure that the platform is built to grow with you.

How long does the implementation take?

It depends on your starting point and level of ambition, but we always recommend starting small. An initial proof-of-concept of one to two work areas can typically be delivered in four to six weeks, and from there you can validate the effect before the next phase is initiated. A full platform rollout is planned in phases and agreed concretely in the first meeting, so you always know what is coming when.

What happens to our existing data?

Data will not be moved unless you wish. Via OneLake's shortcuts and data mirroring function, Fabric retrieves data from the source systems non-destructively, and your existing systems remain completely unchanged. If you need actual data migration or consolidation, we will of course help with that as well, as Fabric has AI-assisted migration tools for transitioning from older systems.

How much does it cost?

Microsoft Fabric is priced capacity-based on Azure, and the final price depends on data volume, number of workspaces and desired level of service. We help you dimension the right capacity from the start and calculate a concrete price estimate based on your current situation. Contact us for a non-binding chat and we will send an estimate within two working days.
