New department in Germany

After supplying the Danish middle market with digital solutions for more than 20 years, KOLLAB is now expanding the business to the south. The German market will be the first step on the way. Pr. On 1 January 2026, KOLLAB will open an office in Hamburg and can thus add another address to the company's already seven locations – and the first outside Denmark's borders.

The office in Hamburg will be led by the experienced KOLLAB profile Henrik Aaen. Henrik is a Solution Architect at KOLLAB, and has previously successfully been responsible for starting companies in Asia and Dubai, among others. Henrik has in-depth knowledge of the German market and has therefore pointed to Hamburg as the location for KOLLAB's first office on the German market.

The German market is colossal compared to Denmark, but regardless of which market you start a business in, it makes sense to focus on starting up in a smaller area. “Hamburg is Germany's second largest city and the one closest to Denmark both geographically and culturally. Among other reasons, we have chosen to put our first office outside Denmark's borders in Hamburg,” says Carsten Sixhøi, CEO of KOLLAB. “We know that there is a great need for a full-service provider of digital solutions on the German market. We have customers on the Danish market with branches in Germany who have tried in vain to find a full-service Microsoft supplier on the German market. Our studies of the German market in general have shown that there are a large number of medium-sized companies that are too small to have an internal IT department, but large enough that they have an ongoing need to develop digital solutions to develop their business. We will now offer them a solution tailored to their needs,” concludes Carsten Sixhøi.
