Life is too short for sloppiness
By sloppiness we don't necessarily mean bad coding or anything else in the more technical ballpark. Sloppy is solving the wrong problem or solving the right problem in the wrong way.
Unfortunately, you often hear about it in digital projects: Solutions that work technically, but still do not create the value you expected. Not because something is built wrong, but because it is built before someone has really understood the business behind it.
We call that sloppy.
Not sloppy as in laziness, but sloppy as in solutions that are started too quickly and built before the needs and possibilities are clear. Because life is too short for sloppiness. For solutions that look right on paper but don't last in reality.
The right problem before the right solution
Good digitization is not about building as much as possible, but about building the right thing. Therefore, we make an effort to understand the customer's business in depth before we even talk about technology.
How do you work in practice? Where do the challenges arise in everyday life? And what is the problem that actually needs to be solved?
Only when a company's processes and workflows are clearly defined does it make sense to talk about systems, architecture and solutions. Everything else is guesswork, and guesswork quickly becomes expensive.
