DGI

DGI is a sports organization that works to strengthen Danish grassroots sports and sports association life through courses, educations, exercise events and much more.

Association life is run by a lot of zealots, who must have the best conditions for navigating all the administrative information. We therefore jumped on their team for a period of time to be their UX sparring partner and help DGI optimize their website.

User-friendly tests

How do you ensure that information becomes easy to find and understand? It is primarily about knowing the target group – in this case the association people. That is why we tackled one of the most valuable disciplines in UX work: tests. We set up concrete scenarios and asked test subjects to find different types of information. In this way, we could test whether the language was precise, whether the navigation structure was intuitive, and whether the content was presented in a way that created clarity and an overview.

Pure data

As the UXs we are, we love data, and here it is not enough to just conclude from the first round of testing. Therefore, we tested various hypotheses before drawing up concrete improvement proposals and testing the entire pier again. And again, tests are the way to go, because e.g. the success rate increased by 75% when the test subjects searched for ’help to buy administration’, following our improvement proposal.

Design that takes cones

We have taken the ball and dribbled it through our results to prepare useful design optimizations. We also gave the information structure and navigation an overhaul. With our proposal, we helped ensure that the site is in top shape and that the end user can easily move around on it.
