Holm & Halby
Holm & Halby supplies and services advanced laboratory equipment for the pharmaceutical industry, universities, hospitals and the food industry. Customers make high demands on stability, operational reliability, technical service and handling of data and documentation. As part of optimizing and having 100 percent control over the processes incl. order, delivery and service inspection, we have helped Holm & Halby and implemented NAV Online.
Challenge: Holm & Halby lacked a digital and mobile system to support the technicians in the field, which meant manual processes, lack of real-time data and risk of operational and service errors in an industry where errors cost millions. It hampered both efficiency and security in customer deliveries.
ACCESS TO IT ON THE GO
Every day, Holm and Halby have many technicians who drive around to their customers and ensure that the equipment is up and running. Equipment that stands still – especially in the pharmaceutical industry – costs millions every day. It is therefore important for customers to be able to trust that Holm & Halby has control over data about the customers' instruments and can document how it has been serviced and maintained at all times.
Holm and Halby's service technicians are very much on the road and with the new solution they have access to the necessary IT and can register everything electronically. In this way, they have control over everything from order to delivery at the customer – and subsequent service inspections.

In the collaboration with suppliers, it is important for Holm & Halby that it is suppliers who are also here tomorrow. Furthermore, it is essential that we have dared to challenge habits and find new ways of working with the IT systems. Both so that Holm and Halby are always up-to-date, but also so that they have a system that is stable.
