Mobilex A/S is a Danish company that has specialized in the development and distribution of assistive devices for seniors and people with disabilities since 2003. The company offers a comprehensive range of products, including rollators, wheelchairs, ramps, bathing aids, and a wide selection of spare parts. Mobilex focuses on high quality, modern technology, and fast delivery, and distributes its products to over 2,500 dealers throughout Europe.
Challenge: Mobilex had an outdated, proprietary ERP system that couldn't keep up with growth, digitalization automation requirements, resulting in manual processes, inefficiency, and compliance risks.

In an industry where precision, fast delivery, and efficient operations are crucial, Mobilex faced a growing challenge. Their old, proprietary ERP system had served the company well since its founding in 2003, but had gradually become a challenge to the business's further growth and digitalization.
The entire order flow–from purchasing to finance–was dependent on a great deal of manual data entry, which was both time-consuming and resource-intensive. Inventory management was another challenge, where workflows were also characterized by many manual processes.
At the same time, there was a focus on compliance in the financial department – both in relation to GDPR and the new accounting law, which imposed requirements for documentation and data handling.
The solution came in the form of a new, cloud-based ERP system–Microsoft Business Central Online–developed in close collaboration with KOLLAB.
