RFX Care
RFX CARE is a global supplier of private label products in medical devices, cosmetics and personal protective equipment. With headquarters in Denmark and production in Asia, they ensure high quality and flexible delivery. To strengthen their digital foundation, RFX+CARE in collaboration with KOLLAB has modernized their IT with a cloud-based solution that has increased flexibility, strengthened security and prepared them for future working methods.
Challenge: RFX Care was hampered by an outdated and inflexible IT infrastructure with high operating costs, limited mobility and insufficient security, making it difficult to support modern working methods, create scalability and support future growth.

When a company finds that their IT operations no longer support modern ways of working, it can quickly become a brake on growth and efficiency.
This was precisely the situation RFX Care was in when they started their collaboration with KOLLAB. With an aging IT infrastructure, limited mobility and security challenges, the need for an upgrade was clear.

Outdated IT infrastructure
RFX Care had for a long time struggled with an IT infrastructure that no longer matched the company's needs. Their traditional servers required constant maintenance and were both costly and inflexible.
Remote desktop solutions (RDS) limited employees' ability to work flexibly, and there was an increasing demand for more mobile solutions.
Security was also a concern. Better backup solutions and an updated security structure were needed with modern measures such as 2-factor validation, antivirus and SSL certificates. At the same time, the administration of Microsoft 365 and cloud services was not optimally utilized, which meant that the company did not get full benefit from their existing licenses.
RFX Care used an older version of the ERP system NAV, which was still a stable and reliable solution for the company. KOLLAB used their in-depth experience and expertise to optimize and maximize the potential of NAV so that the system could continue to support the company's operations efficiently and seamlessly, without the need for replacement. At the same time, RFX Care was lifted away from the old Remote Desktop solutions and onto a more modern “Modern Work” model, which gave employees increased flexibility and better opportunities to work across devices and platforms – a transfer that previous suppliers had not succeeded with.

After being dissatisfied with their previous supplier, RFX Care chose to partner with KOLLAB, allowing them to implement an IT solution that not only solved the existing challenges, but also supported the company's future needs.
This flexibility was the basis for the necessary modernization of the IT infrastructure. KOLLAB implemented several measures that allowed RFX Care to optimize both operations and security, while also providing a more scalable and flexible solution.
