RFX Care
RFX CARE is a global supplier of private label products within medical equipment, cosmetics, and personal protective equipment. With headquarters in Denmark and production in Asia, they ensure high quality and flexible delivery. To strengthen their digital foundation, RFX+CARE has collaborated with KOLLAB to modernize their IT with a cloud-based solution that has increased flexibility, strengthened security, and prepared them for the working methods of the future.
Challenge: RFX Care was hampered by an outdated and inflexible IT infrastructure with high operating costs, limited mobility, and inadequate security, making it difficult to support modern ways of working, create scalability, and support future growth.

Outdated IT infrastructure
RFX Care had been struggling for some time with an IT infrastructure that no longer matched the company's needs. Their traditional servers required constant maintenance and were both costly and inflexible.
Remote desktop solutions (RDS) limited employees' ability to work flexibly, and there was a growing demand for more mobile solutions.
Security was also a concern. There was a need for better backup solutions and an updated security structure with modern measures such as two-factor authentication, antivirus software, and SSL certificates. At the same time, the administration of Microsoft 365 and cloud services was not being optimally utilized, which meant that the company was not getting the full benefit of its existing licenses.
RFX Care used an older version of the NAV ERP system, which was still a stable and reliable solution for the company. KOLLAB used its in-depth experience and expertise to optimize and maximize the potential of NAV so that the system could continue to support the company's operations efficiently and smoothly, without the need for replacement. At the same time, RFX Care was moved away from the old remote desktop solutions and onto a more modern "Modern Work" model, which gave employees increased flexibility and better opportunities to work across devices and platforms – a transition that previous suppliers had not succeeded in achieving.
